Ever gone to sign into your account on your friend's computer and you notice their username and password are still filled in? Sure you can sign into their account, but why not go further? Why not find out the password yourself? Continue on!

Mozilla Firefox (For Mac and PC):

1. On the page where the password is in stars, paste the following in the address bar:

(Go here, then select all with Ctrl + A, then copy with Ctrl + C)

2. The password will be displayed!

To view all their stored Firefox passwords do the following:

1. With Firefox open, navigate to "Tools --> Options" (For Mac: "Firefox --> Preferences)

2. Click on the "Security" tab. Then click on "Saved Passwords".

3. Click "Show Passwords".

Internet Explorer (PC)

1. Download this program called Asterisk Key.

2. Go to the site with the ***** in Internet Explorer and click "Recover". It will reveal the passwords on that page.

Other Applications:

To reveal passwords in other applications download one of these two programs. These won't work for ALL applications of course, but it's worth a try.

Have a great time revealing pass*****! :)
